Scrap Batteries received in the Factory/Ware house are unloaded with the help of Loader/fork Lift if they are on Pallets or manually if they are in loose condition. The Breaking of Batteries is carried out by Mechanical Battery Breaker (BBS) or by Battery Cutter and separated in to different fractions.
Polypropylene Chips/Pallets are cleaned, put in to jumbo bags and dispatched/sold to any buyer/Recycler where P.P. is required as raw material. Acidic water is treated and recycled in the Battery breaking system and also used in mould cooling, floor cleaning etc.
The dewatered Lead Paste from filter press and Metallic separated from the Batteries are directly taken to Smelting section for further processing.
